Looking for good progressive songs. In the past couple days I've listened to a lot of Dream Theater, some Endless Sporadic (Unsigned band. They have a song on THUG2 and another one on GH3) a little Prototype, Rush, and some Mars Volta.

Any suggestions on songs? Not necessarily bands, just songs for starters. I'll look up the bands later on if I like what I hear. And any song recommendations by the bands listed is cool too. I still haven't heard much, but I like what I've heard.

Tool and Isis are pretty sick. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, but you should check them out.

Alaska sounds like progressive death metal or something. Sounds boring to me

Listen to Colors. it's basically one really long amazing song, the tracks flow into each other. I don't like their older stuff nearly as much as Colors.

Get the albums Red and Court of The Crimson King by King Crimson, Fragile by Yes, Soft Machine's first album or Wish You Where Here by Pink Floyd (why has no one said them yet?).

Jesus Christ! Alright, I haven't been on SB-C in a while, so I decided to check, and you guys are going to keep me busy!

I have The Silent Circus by BtBaM, and yes they are sick. I'll get Colors as JerseySucks said.

I'm not a Pink Floyd fan, so, don't try. I'm sorry, I just never could listen to them.

As for the rest, I will definately be looking into these bands. Thanks to everyone who posted.

Dream Theater. Scenes From A Memeory is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Definitely get that. Liquid Tension Experiment, i prefer the second one but theyre both amazing.

Oh and I can't not mention Queensryche's "Hear In The Now Frontier."
