Dude I've been listening a lot of Metal, Thrash Punk, and a bunch of fast paced stuff like that and I've been wanting to listen to some music with some beat.

Been feeling Hangar 18 lately. If you use torrents, search their album "Sweep the Leg" over on isohunt. I just got it last night and it's tight as hell.

How sick was it? I have a Kool Keith discography with all (or most, I hope?) of his side-projects as well. Some hella ill stuff. Masters of Illusion I remember I really liked.

Dan tha Automator!! I love his production.

Speaking of whom, reminds me of Del. Has anyone seen Del's latest video, on Def Jux? It's so fucking lame

Dan The Automator is in Deltron.

Handsome Boy Modeling School is legit, as is Kid Koala.

Other than whats been said, Naughty By Nature is clean, Doom, Eric B and Rakim, Kool Keith (Dr Octagon) etc. Obviously Wu Tang and all members and affiliates.

Also, DJ Shadow is like electro, same with Cut Chemists newer stuff, but Jurassic 5 stuff is dope.

That's probably why it reminded me of Del.

I saw "Return of Dr. Octagon" at the book store today? Is this recent? I should have bought it but it was $16. Maybe next time, if it's there

First of all try to look for and support everything local if you can.

Nujabes is mad sick. It's soooo mellow and lax. Look up Shing02 also. Sick stuff.

Some originals are Dougie Fresh, Dj Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, Biz Markie.

Also Non Phixion, People Under the Stairs, Aceyalone, Styles of Beyond, Souls of Mischief, RA the Rugged Man, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Slum Village, Illogic, Lords of the Underground, Swollen Members, N.E.R.D., MF Doom, Madlib, J Dilla, and Atmosphere are all hot stuff and so is the stuff everyone else has said.

If you want more artists just ask. Try not to listen to mainstream stuff. It doesn't compete.

Necro

The first time I heard a song by necro, I was wondering what the fuck was wrong with him.

How does this-

Your tits are greased up
You better clean the yeast up
I like a clean slut
AIDS between your butt will get your spleen cut
I'll bang you hard as I strangle you fuckin' you from an angle
That penetrates your anal prostate gland saliva dangle's
***Into*** your mouth bitches that demand action get ramsacked
And cock jam-packed in thier twat bashin' the ass in
Or bitches into fashion, sinful passion
Puffin' hash in a bong trash dance in a thong
***This*** hooker likes when people watch us fuck
So she could feel like she's a porn star
Well she's fuckin' me cause she's starstruck
My tongue is in your crotchless panties
The tartness is sweet like starches in Starburst candy
Bitches hate me but they love a dick, inside thier slit
Where the glove fit, heating up like an oven lit
Your mine, your perfect, that's the verdict
The pervert will vertically twist you and lick you while you jerk it
Work it you're all babes doin' it
Bitches down to drink piss, fluid, plus manure shit

compare to this: (Jedi Mind Tricks)

My style orbits
Around nine planets of forces
Ominous metaphorics in vision of devil corpses
Lying order, mad scientist slash author
Present the type of horror that boils your holy water
Get warped with the knowledge that folds the holy father
Hard boys become toys inside the real saga
So why bother
My whole flaw lines is harder
So bring the drama
We all know that science is smarter
I set off crowds, style wild like a circus
I seek through souls when I walk past churches
Allah praise you, stay true to a devout purpose
Seeking out the wise wherever the God searches
Flows that I embark and leave your squadron shadow dodging
Lyrics assault men' like slugs that fill harkness
No option, narrow odds
Fucking with god is straight gambling with your tarot cards
