Ok so i've been working on the crazytrain solo for like a month and i haven't really gotten anywhere in the past few weeks with the solo. I could do all parts of the solo but I can't really seem to put it all together. I always mess up, and have to retry the specific part I messed up at a few times until i get it. Any suggestions how to fix this? Anyone know a slightly easier solo but still challenging one that could help my accuracy?

it sucks so much ass its really really horrible here it is http://media.putfile.com/veryyy-bad-crazytrain-solo-practice

Just practice it slow and build up the speed with a metronome.

The exact tempo doesn't matter, just start the metronome at a very slow tempo and build it up.

That sounded bad, honestly the solo seems to be over your boundaries. Although it's good to test them as it's involved in the developing process, playing too hard solos inaccurate won't lead to anything good.

I'd say try to really master the Aces High solo if you said that might feel a bit easier, then post a vid maybe and we'll have a look. One thing I can recommend is some basic right/left hand exercises involving alternate picking/legato which of both are needed in that solo. I'm learning Stream of Consciousness's piano solo on my keyboard right now and have the same problem, I can play all the parts good but I can't seem to combine them all into playing the whole solo in a row. Need more practice heh.

But really, keep it up, I'd really like to see some videos of your playing. :)

So what song should i learn? I want to know a full song i should learn instead of like ac dc or aces high. Something that is slightly challenging and makes me better but not too challenging. help??? and the song also has to have good tabs.
