What are your favorite riffs to play on your instrument. I think Billy Talent's pins and needles is fun to play even though I don't listen to them anymore and black dog is really fun too.

I don't wanna fucking rape them songs, all have too hard solos. I could do them, but it'd sound shit. Expect footy in a year or two though, I promise.

And seriously, play Ride the Lightning, its amazing
In fact, play anything by Metallica, because Metallica are amazing. And if you play Metallica, youll be amazing
FACT
Then, bust out a bass and learn Anesthesia
And I think I read someone posted YYZ. Learn the bass to that, its better than the guitar part

That was me. While we're on the topic of basslines for songs by Rush, how about vital signs? That one's amazing:

Cat Scratch Fever- Ted Nug
Whiskey in the Jar- Thin Lizzy
Rock and Roll Hoochie Ko- Rick Derringer
Ain't talkin Bout Love- Van Halen
Van Halen is the only one I can play all the way through because it's only about three chords and the solo is real easy. Whiskey in the Jar has to be my favorite though.

I never knew ol' Gally played guitar. Metallica definitely has one of the best discography to learn stuff from. They have really easy songs to extremely hard songs, and it's all really fun.
Dream Theater - The Dark Eternal Night
One huge riffplay
