Razortail on decks

Why does this happen? My only thought is manuals getting draggged, or is it just plain sliding to stop.

Does anyone know how this can be prevented, and what decks dont wear down this fast?

it can be prevented/slowed down by not dragging your tail on manuals or slowing down
but it will still happen b.c of popped tricks and whatnot
all decks ive gotten all razortailed lol so i cant help you there

it mainly happens because we pop the tail down to do tricks, causing the tail to wear down...if you drag your tail, then razor tail happens a lot quicker...i dont think it can be prevented, but it can be slowed down...

do different tricks, like nollie, switch, and skate different things.
slip tape and that tail thing are things you shouldn't do.
they're ugly.

Do any boards not wear down as fast?
Or do they all last the same?

some boards like birdhouse wear down faster than other boards but tabout the the only other thing i can think of to get longer lasting would be get like an 8ply or sometyhing but i agree i hate razor tails

when i got my brand new board, i never did a manual and just popped for tricks. i got a razor tail pretty quick. so it isn't just manuals

yea i kno i nvr did manuals on my zero and its got a razortail but on my element it had the worst razortail i did a ollie north and put my foot like 8inches from the nose thinking i was gona land it and i didnt my razortail cut right into my leg i got a scar from it

Hell yeah, get an 8 ply and grind the shit out of it!
