I've just done some research on the Revolution and I found out some things.
1) Nintendo is making a horrible choice, saying that it's only going to be a game system. They believe it only should be a game system and nothing else. So no live gaming or anything from them. But you know what's weird, they made the DS a live gaming system. Weird.
2) They have mastered wireless controlers. The controlers may lok gay at a glance and look hard to play but they are really not. You think how can I move and press the A botton and the same time. Well it's all sensored. By moving the controler in mid air it moves on screen. The d-pad is just for laying the classic NES, SNES, and N64 games by playing with the controlers horzontally. But to play the Game Cube games you'll have to by a game cube cotroler.
3) Nintendo is making a risky move. They used the DS for a clue to what the games will be like. They'll be the classic Nintendo games such as Link, and Mario. But they for now on will only make those games for Nintendo. So no more Mario, Link, etc games for the other consoles. This desicion will either put the in 1st place above the PS3 and Xbox 360, or simply almost run them out of business.
4) Even Nintendo is scared for this console to come out, which is bad so what can you ecpect. They said they are sticky with Game Cube until 2007 as a back-up plane! How does that make you fill? It makes you probably think, even Nintendo thinks this new system sucks.
Overall the only good things that I have heard about the new console is that it's megaly backwards compatable and the controller. And even the controller has flaws.
Right now I'm going to stick with the Xbox 360,and maybe buy the PS3 if I get enough money after the 360. But this Nintedo looks worthy of checking out because it's mysterious.
