The wheel size's importance is nothing compared to the height and looseness of your trucks.

Forget the spacers, period.

If you're street skating, go for 52 mm. Also, make sure you're buying Bones STF or Autobahn wheels.

The Zumiez I go to sells Bones STF, but Autobahns are harder to come by, some local shops may have them.

But Zumiez should be your last option to buy skate shit, you should seriously support your local shop if there is one in your town.

CCS has only these STFs: http://shop.ccs.com/item.do?categoryID=61&itemID=20330&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=0120

And they also have some 52mm Autobahns:

Smart choice.

And with sizes, generally for street skating, you want to keep it 48-54mm, and for riding bowls and what not, above 55mm. Smaller wheels will get you going in shorter time than bigger wheels, but bigger wheels have a higher top speed. Smaller wheels (and skinnier wheels for that matter) are more lightweight and better suited for street skating.

My autobahns are the worst wheels i have ever had i got 2 flatspots after an hour of skating and tend to get another one everytime i skate and they are hard ones
i want to try stf but cannot find them anywhere but my personal favorite is momentum they are hard as fuck and rarely flatspot i had them for like 5 months before i got any flatspots

Yeh, Bones STFs are the best wheels ever. and they arent like most wheels that when you hit a little pebble yer ass is grass. but they are still able to slide and not get flatspots.

u can get liek up to 40 without needing spacers. but with low trucks, u should stick to under 57
