I Just Snapped my Deck on a BOardslide!!!

WTF? i guess i slammed it hard on my round-rail and i heard a crack and when i look, my board is broken down the middle. Are boardslides supposed to be that hard? and i might go get a new deck.......


NOTE: i am very good at everything BUT grinds/slides so im trying to learn them. (i can tre down ledges and stuff)

After wearing down a ply or two in the middle, it can happen easily. It's pretty common.

Dude get a girl board, or a Zoo York. Those are two really good board. I still role on a Zero. Its my secound skateboard.

And yeah You'd think Zero's would be built for endurance, because there rides like jump huge ass gaps and stairs. I mean really, the team is made of these crazy ass jumper skaters...

i break decks alot on lipslides and kickflip front foards their killers, tres down gaps i alwasy break the nose of board on those things, but yeah its a normal thing. My Atm worked very well i had broken the middle off the side of a 4 ft wedge at my skatepark and the board had a crack down the middle and when i was riding away my board was bending down about 2-3 inches. that board lasted me another month and it had 4 of the seven layers already cracked those blanks are beasts

It happens, just don't put so much pressure on the center of your deck when you get on the rail.

If you ever watched the Zero skate video, "New blood" you would notice that decks get snapped pretty regularly. I don't think i've seen so many decks been snapped in one skate video.

If you've been doing boardslides a lot then it probably would break. If you get a new board try a Krooked.

I broke an oldschool board doing an ollie, which was like 5 inches, pathetic, but good for a oldschool board, I must say, it is hard leveling out an oldschool board.

if it uses steroids and drinks a lot of powerade it builds endurance. decks snap, that's life
