do you think i would have trouble going from a 7.75 to an 8.0? a lot of the decks i am interested in are 8's. i've skated a 7.75 since i've started skating. i just don't want it to have a bad effect on my tricks or w/e

well, try an 8, and you might be suprized at how much easier things are. Or, you wont like them and things will be a lot harder.

8.0 for life.

There just the best size.

if you want to balance things out.

find an almost/enjoi/darkstar and go with 7.9.

Agreed. There perfect, not to wide not to small. Makes it easier to land tricks .

Once you go 8, you never go back.

Not really that much of a difference, i find a 8's a good size to ride, if your not to sure, maybe try something inbetween? 7.9?

When I went from a 7.63 to a 7.8, I got loads better and learned a bunch of tricks.

When I went from a 7.8 to 7.87, I learned flip tricks all easy.

Then I went to an 8, and I lost all my flip tricks. I can land 1 kickflip a month now, and I finally used all the pop-lites, so hopefully I get get a 7.87 or 7.9.

It's all personal preferance, though.

Get the 8. I have a 7.9 (well 7.875 really) and I love it. 7.9 is very close to 8, so I'll just go ahead and say that 8 inch boards are amazing.

I hop around from 7.63 all the way up to 7.85, you just gotta see what you like. It doesn't make a difference for me unless it's a 7.5 or an 8.

when you go bigger its easier to land tricks you already have and its easier to do stairs i think. also your deck wont break as easily.
