so i have a friend who says that boards with resin have a dark colored ply of wood in the middle of the deck. hes ignorant so im not sure if this is true, and was wondering. if this isnt true, are there any telltale signs of resin on the deck itself?

btw this isnt one of those things when im the friend.

some of the ones I have had were all sorts of colors, like rainbow plys.

no dude, resin is a kind of adhesive that they use. the board is still made out of wood. but yeah i kinda wanna know how you would tell if a board uses resin epoxy.

resin is a glue, there is not sign of it on your board except for the fact that it is sometimes stronger. different colored plies are just dyed wood.

the resin is harder, making the board more stiff. I absolutely love my enjoi resin 7. Best deck i've owned.

Resin decks don't, but I know that Darkstar Armorlights have a dark ply in the middle.

the dark play in the middle is carbon fiber it keeps the board stiff as hell

the resin is the little colored thing in the middle lol i dunno wut it is called but it makes the deck more stiff. i have an enjoi resin and i love it

resin in the glue used to put it together.

usually they have multi-colored plys, and are noticeably thinner than most decks.

all the resins i owned were amazing, definatley better than a regualr 7-ply.
