ok, there is a comp I trained for for the past 5 months, cause it is going to be my first comp to enter advanced (alot of people sayed I should enter advanced). It is 2 weeks to the comp, but something terrible has happened, my decks tail got exposed to alot of water, and it is chipping like hell, so much I think it might break by the time of the comp, now, I have to choose to get a new deck, and the same model, and I never skated the same model twice, and I don't know if I will be used to it by then, I useually take 3 weeks to get 100% used to a board, but I think it might not take as long if I get the same model, my other option is skate the nose, but then my flips are useless, and I can't get enough air (my foot doesn't catch the little dip in the nose then, making my leveling out shitty), so, what should I do.

Ps, I think I'll kill 2 birds with one stone, How the hell do you hip transfer, not a small 20 degree difference either, a big 90 degree hip, how do you do one.

Tame your record and get the same deck, or get the same brand with a different graphic. Hip transfer, kinda ollie diagonally over the flat, then lean towards your back, while leaning into he ramp. Try not to land right at the top, or you'll hook up (nasty) try to get on the tranny.

^ I saw a few guys hooking up real nasty. I bet it wont be as hard as I think it would be, like almost everything I think my biggest problem would be the mental aspect of landing on tranny.

i thought a few months ago you could barely ollie? Probably someone else. I say get a new deck right now, same brand only if you like you deck, and if not, go to your skate shop and pick out a deck.

Get a new deck and skate it. How the fuck do you have to get used to a board? Its a piece of wood and as much as you try there is not much difference in how it feels under your feet, especially if you get the same brand.

Actually, I made that thread, but it was because I had a bad day cause I did 180 variations that day, and when I ollied I did a slight turn, I freaked out and made a thread immediatly, I often overreact, and that really fucked up my reputation, cause now everyone thinks I am a lier, but I just overreacted, I tend to do that sometimes.
