There is no such thing as the best album of all time, mostly because there is no one project to date that encompasses the best of every style of music.

You don't have to be so politcally correct, I think he meant in your opinion

i agree with marevix. there's no single album that crosses every genre i listen to, and since i don't particularly have a favorite genre, it's impossible to pick.

I'm going to add the rise and fall of ziggy stardust by david bowie and (what's the story) morning glory by oasis. God there is so many

He meant your favorite album.

Either way, I'd give the same response. I like my favorite psychedelic rock albums for completely different reasons than my favorite melodic death metal albums, for example (and I couldn't choose my favorite psychedelic rock or melodeath album, either).

That is my opinion, why would I post it otherwise?

I'm not going to say best albums of all time, or favourite of all time because I am undecided, some of these aren't even my favourite bands or genres, but every track on these ones are killer:

Somewhere In The Between - Streetlight Manifesto
Silent Alarm - Bloc Party
Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine
Ted Leo & The Pharmacists - Shake The Streets
Appetite For Destruction - Guns N' Roses
Destruction By Definition - Suicide Machines
Operation Ivy - Energy
Propagandhi - Potemkin City Limits, How To Clean Everything
Megadeth - Greatest Hits
Led Zeppelin - Remastered
Anti-Flag - Underground Network
Millencolin - Home From Home, Pennybridge Pioneers
Iron Maiden - A Matter Of Life And Death
New Found Glory - Catalyst

There's probably way more which I have forgotten.
