View Full Version : Pop-Lite Review
i dont skate

First off, i noticed how light these decks are. Definatly the lightest deck i have felt. The shape is also awsome. The nose is bigger/steeper than the tail, and also a little steeper than most boards. I think it is perfect for everything. I catch my flips tricks better than i did with my old board. The nose is also very rounded...not squarish like a lot of boards. The tail is pretty steep, and has A LOT of pop. More than all of the decks i have tried also. It is also strong/durable. I did a lot of tail dragging today and it is holding up great. Also, i put a brand new Pop-lite blank ontop of the one i am skating right now and they are still the same shape, so this board still has the same shape which is good. Another thing i noticed is consistancy. I ordered five pop-lites, and they are the same shape/weight.
Conclusion: These decks are amazingly light, have more pop than any board i have tried, and have an awsome shape. When ordering five decks, they came out to be a little more than $11 a board, which is awsome. I am only skating these decks for now on.
Pics upon request.

zumiez = fastforward. And as far as I know they don't sell them there. They only sell them online and some select non-big name skate shops.

not to put anybody off or anything, but pop-lite's are some of the worst quality decks you can get. if you skate a little hard, they get really flexy, chip easily, and snap easily. maybe one of the shortest lasting boards i have ever owned. if you are getting a bulk pack for cheap, its probably not a horrible idea, but buying 1 just isnt practical.

Mine isn't bendy at all, and it still has awsome pop...It doesn't chip easy at all either. Sorry for not posting pics, my dad eleted the pics on the camera, and i thought this thread was dead.

one last thing.
are they DURABLE?
NO.
like i said, worst quality decks you can get. most kids around here can burn through a pop-lite every 2 weeks. if you get a 10 pack, i guess its kind of cool if you dont mind changing decks like crazy, and riding crap ones at that.

Mine chipped hella fast, lost pop and had super razor tail all within a month.
I've skated 4 of them about 1 1/2 months a piece.

well its only 10 bucks for each deck. This dude i met has a pop lite and everytime he slammed his nose or tail of the board to the ground or ledge, it would chip.
But since you only skate what you listed, you should get it. its durability seems fine and it did have a lota pop
