its not. if you don't lube your bearings after you clean them, they will die in like three days.

ive never used wd40 on my trucks, ever
even when i started skating i knew it would screw them up
flipped is right, its cuz i didnt lube them
also, whats the best way to clean them?
ive used the search button and ive found different ways but theres always somebody who contradicts that way to clean it
i was thinkin about takin the shields off, washing the bearings around in gasoline for a couple minutes, using a blowdrier to dry them off, and then applying spead cream and then puttin the shields back on
is that any good?
make any corrections to it if you want

I haven't tried gasoline, but it's a solvent - so it should work, just wash the bearings with isopropyl alcohol (higher the %, the better) for a minute or two in case the gasoline residue stays in the bearing. Also, leave the bearings in the gasoline overnight instead of for a few minutes.

To clean bearings, basically...
Take off the caps, soak them in rubbing alcohol, or google "solvent" and whatever comes up as solvent is in your house, use that. Soak them for 5 minutes, while stirring gently. Dry them off good with a rag, then put on the axle of your truck, take a blow dryer, try them off gooooood. If you have a compressed air container, then use that on the bearings to get dry and get out all dirt, then put in lube.

compressed air container?
ummmm, im tryin to think what that would be
and to maverix
ill just leave the bearings in the gas for a few hours, just cuz i dont wanna take the chance of leavin them out over night and not knowing what will happen
and that isopropyl alcohol, is it just rubbing alcohol

Just follow these directions and put some speed cream in when you're done. It works on old ass bearings that don't even turn anymore too.
A bottle of Speed cream should last you a long time. It's definitely worth it.

Lol metal in the microwave what a dumbshit. Just use a blow dryer not a microwave.

buy the lube for sure
i was in the same predicament
just open the bearings by taking off the shield
soak them in rubbing alcohol(90%)
and then put some drops of lubricant in them
like new

I lubed my reds in cooking oil... I'm not sure if it was corn, vegetable, or canola. I'm pretty sure it was Mazola brand though. It actually worked pretty good.

Get paintball lube. You either get oil or grease. http://www.dbnpaintball.com/lube.htm
The two oils on the top work awsome, and last me for about a month or so. Or get the second grease, hater sauce V2, it is the slickest grease out of all of the grease lubricants out there. i just used it in my bearings, and i will LYK how it works. It will for sure last long though.

it ruins your bearings, i think its only for cleaning or something, its better just to buy new bearings
