i have been skating minilogos for about a year now, and they are absolutely great decks. minilogos are immaculate in quality, and are made by powell, a skate company that has been around for over 30 years, so you know buying some dank shit.

to start off, lets take a look at the shapes offered. mninlogo officially offers 5 different concaves in about 22 different sizes/shapes. the most commonly purchased concaves, are the ki11 and the k12.

i have rode both, and the ki11 has a moderately mellow shape without being flat, and is very easy to get used to. i highly recomend this concave. it gives you great ollie control, but still just enough concave to give you that flick you need when doing heel/flip tricks. you may have to order the ki11 online, because they usuall sell the other shape, the k12 at skatesops, as it is more popular. the k12 is great too, and has a steeper concave, but again, nothing extreme. the k12 also allows ballanced skating, and is easy to get used to.

now on to the actual review. i will rate each of the decks attributes on a 1-10 scale in comparison with the other decks i have rode. 1 is the lowest score, 5 is average, and 10 is the best.

quality 10/10

the deck is very well built, and according to powell uses the same wood, laminate and manufacturing processes as the rest of the boards they make. i have NEVER gotten a defective board, or "lemon' from them, either. minilogos do not have any real graphics on the bottom, aside from the logo. also, there is no marketing money spent on minilogo decks, which allows them to maintain a low price.

wood/laminate/finish 9.5/10

all minilogos use top quality canadian maple, what you would come to expect from any good deck. the laminate they use is also quite strong, as i have NEVER, EVER had any de lam of any kind. ever. i have a friend who does not like minilogos because of this problem, but i have never experienced it. minilogos are treated with a slick SST coating on the bottom which allows it to slide better, and it works very well. on rainy days, it is possible to slide around your carpet and do tricks because of this treatment. i would not recomend this, because i put a huge hole in my wall while attempting to kickflip while sliding on the carpet.

they also come in a variety of different colors.

shape 10/10

there are so many different concaves/sizes availible online that everyone should find something they like. all boards, however are not extreme, all using the standard formula of a wider, bigger nose opposed to the tail. a k12s shape is offered for smaller skaters. because of this, i give the
shape(s) a 10/10.

durability 7.5/10

overall good durability. as the deck wears down, it will retain most of it's pop and durability. towards the end of it's life, however, it will drastically lower in quality and begin to warp and flex. this is especially true for the ki11. due to it's steeper concave, the k12 will last a little longer than the ki11 will, but willretain it's stiffness much, much better. it does not chip vey easily. it razors at about an average rate, and the SST coating on the bottom will last a while. its not quite as durable as many other name brand decks, but still pretty damn close.

i skated mine heavily for about two months before it really started to wear down. if durability is what you want the most, get a k12, or maybe a ki11 in the next size up from what you usually ride.

pop 9/10

this board has pop, and plenty of it. it will retain its pop for a fairly good time. the pop never really wears out much, but as it ages, the middle will begin to flex and detract from the boards overall pop.

value 10/10

although i capitalized on many negative aspects of this deck, there is simply no other deck that can offer you the same performance for the price, period. minilogos give you professional quality boards at a blank deck price. i highly, highly recomend this product to any one. you will not be disapointed, quite frankly, you will be impressed. i have skated moose decks, and several decks from blankdecks.com, and shop blanks. these are the best blanks out there, you have my word.

OVERALL: 9/10

minlogos cost $31.00 U.S. and can be ordered form skateone.com or minilogoskateboards.com.

you may ask me any additional questions in this thread, as i am a frequent buyer of these and have lots of experience with them.
