Girl Decks Review

Mmk, I have had one Girl, and I am using my second now. All I can say is that they are all around great decks, and if you get the chance to buy one, then go for. They are verrrrrrrrry well-rounded.



Pop: 10/10- Jesus Christ, these decks have a shitload of pop to them. From day 1, until the day it had broken, I was able to get outragous pop on any of tricks. It had never really lost pop, making me feel like the deck was always in perfect condition.



Graphic: 8/10- Girl decks have sweet graphics. They arent like a death-like, dark company as Zero, but have flashy, and sometimes funny decks. The two Girls I have had are from the Tabloid series.

Concave/Flip: 11/10- Girl decks are known for flatter concave than other popular decks, which will suit many different skaters. The flip is great, I was able to get double heels and varial double heels, while feeling comfortable with the flatter, mellow concave.



Chipping: 7/10- The only slight downfall on these decks is the chipping. I had gotten a somewhat large chip on my nose within 2 and a half weeks of skating. And on my old Girl, I got a chip on the tail within 2 weeks. I found that as long as you dont beat the ever living shit out of your board, dont throw it, etc., you should be fine with this problem. My chips pretty much came from learning new tricks.


Duribility: 8/10- Just take care of your deck, and it should last you quite a while.


Overall: 9.7/10: Girls are great decks, with great pop and flip, just take care of it as you would your firstborn, and you should be fine with chipping and such. When you get the chance, BUY A GIRL!

Thanks i just bought mine last night, down side is they're a lil on the heavy side, but i need heavier decks, cause im a bigger skater, im not fat but im not like those skrawny kids that wear girl jeans. haha but ya my pop shuvs went from look like a lil higher shuvs to as high as my ollies, and my kickflips/heels/varials were alot higher.

Yeah man, Girls are amazing, but yeah they are a little bit heavier than other decks.

Right now though alot of my flip tricks i cant land consistantly i mean they higher, alot higher but i usually land upside down
but i have trouble flicking it all the way since its heavier
do you think i just have to get used to it, and get it all worn in
cause i only skated on it for like an hour last night haha.

ps.i still think its an awesome deck, im just curious, i think it might've been the fact it was at nighttime i couldnt land em

I had the same exact problem. After about 4 days, you get used to it, and it gets worn in, and the problem goes away, and in my opinion turns about to an amazing deck.

yea its just i went from a light as hell almost impact to a girl ahaha, and i generally skated light decks, but IMO heavier decks will give you higher pop.. and alright cool.. well i could probably get it worn in today/early tomorrow
cause im a go skate for like 5 hours or more.. at 3pm.. its like 2:30 right now

had a girl deck for a week and then the tail slip apart, it was march and no it wasn't snow or rain or something it was just cold out side and ive skated in the dead of winter with other boards with snow around me, not a fan of girl decks

Which pro model exactly did you have? Ive had 3 j rogers decks and the tail seemed to be short on each of em(still fucking good though I <3 girl)

Yes, the nose actually is a little steeper than the tail, which to me, turned out to be a pretty big plus.
