Ok, Im bored as hell, browsing through these forums and this deck forum gave me an idea to make one of these deck guides. My shoe guide in the shoe forum was succesful and this deck thread will have the same point as the shoe guide. Instead of 1000000 topics about how one type of board is, find out here. People, please participate by posting decks that you have owned and how the shape was, durability, bla bla bla bla...

Toy Machine- I remember my toy machine chipped really easy, but thats because I just started skating and i didnt take care of my board or any thing.

Alien Workshop- Same as above. I remember that it was really durable though, 3 months (didnt do anything)

Element fiberlight- Yeah, elements are actually good boards. You bam haters are faggots. This board had really good shape and it was a pretty good board overall.

Blank- I chipped the fuck out of it and i ended up stomping it.

Flip- Eh... hated it. Bad shape, chipped soooo easily, I got pissed and stomped it.

INC- Great board, one of the best I have ever had. Great pop, shape, and really durable. I still have it actually, but i wont skate it again since its waterlogged and chipped and dented and has no grip tape.

Zero- I loved my zero, it had pretty good shape and the "pop" lasted awhile too. The tail snapped though. Sad day.

Girl- I loved it. Not alot of concave, but decent pop and I learned soo much shit on it. I was getting pissed one day because I couldnt land ***** and I played some kid in skate and messed up on something gay like a shuvit and stomped it.

Baker- Good pop, good shape, overall good board. Forgot how I broke it.

Skatepark of Tampa- One of the BEST boards out there. They have one of my favorite shapes, very durable, and long lasting "pop"

Real- Same as above

Zoo York- Good shape and pop, snapped it on a nosegrab shuv up a launch ramp.

Foundation Pop Top- Gimmick board. Wasnt good at all, felt like a normal board with shitty shape. Broke it in 2 weeks, wasnt durable as everyone says it is.

DGK- Damn, I miss this board. One of my favorites. Good shape and pop and all of that good stuff. I recommend these.

Rasa Libre- I liked this board alot, very good shape and it lasted along time.

Black Label- My all time favorite boards. Everything is perfect.

Shortys- Pretty good board. Nice shape, pretty durable too.

I am pretty sure this is it. I dont remember all of the boards I have had. Remember kiddies, the board doesnt make you skate better, its just personal preference. So, if you like little concave, refer to my " decent shape or not that good shape" sayings. If you like concave, refer to my " Good shape, or best shape" or something like this. Ok, I have wasted some time before I go to the skate park, now post some reviews bitches.

Chocolate - Great concave, didin't chip but lost it's pop after like 2 months

Baker - All around great board, one of my favorites. Decent concave, but good, long-lasting pop and a good shape/good feel to it

Enjoi - Weird shape, lost pop, didn't really like it. used it's trucks and wheels for my ATM

ATM- not blanks, but they are only 30 bucks. Great concave, pop is good not great.. use it when it's wet and stuff like that

I'm thinking about a Krooked next. Anybody ever had one? I know 2 kids who have that really liked them

walmart boards-haha i think you know how crappy these are

rage board-bought this as a complete.rage wheels actually arent that bad.the deck had very little concave and i snapped the nose on an ollie after about a week

baker-i got this used and it stil lasted me all summer cuz i sucked really bad.nice shape, pop, and they're pretty tough

enjoi-SHITTTTTTTYY.this is one of the best examples of how crappy chinawood is.it was good for the first 2 months.and then it lost pop, shape, everything

zero-awesome pop, shape, and concave.i snapped it after a month and a half tho cuz i landed really hard in the middle.

foundation poptop-possibly the best board i ever had.not too much concave but it had awesome pop that lasted a good 4 months.it was really strong too but it chipped like crazy

foundation strubing suicide girl board-nice pop, awesome shape.i snapped the tail on a loading dock after a month though

habitat-awesome pop, nice shape.was very weak though.snapped it after doing a boneless off a loading dock

mini logo-awesome pop.but i hated the shape.hardly any concave at all,but they are pretty tough boards

zero(white cross deck)-nice n wide.awesome shape,awesome pop.i love this deck

I rate on a 1-5 scale

1 and 2-Bad
3-Average
4and 5-Above average

Element-
Pop-3.5
Concave-3
Weight-3
Durability-5
Lasting pop-2.5
Overall-3

Element (Fiberlight)
Pop 4
Concave-3
Durability-3.5
Weight-4
Lasting pop-2.5
Overall-3.4

Darkstar
Pop-3
Concave-4
Weight-4
Durability-3.5
Lasting Pop-2
Overall 3.3

Baker
Pop-5
Concave-4.5
Weight-2
Durability-3.5
Lasting Pop-4
Overall-3.8

(it may sound like the best board but there is TOO MUCH concave and i hated the board fell..although the pop was insane and it lasted average)

Almost
Pop-3
Concave-3.5
Weight-5
Durability-3
Lasting Pop-3.5
Overall-3.5

Chocolate
Pop-4.5
Concave-3.5
Weight-3.5
Durability-2

Overall-3.2

Now as you see each of these boards have all least one really good trait.

Pop- Baker, Chocolate, Fiberlight
Concave-Baker, Darkstar
Durability-Element
Weight- Almost, Fiberlight
Lasting Pop- Baker

Like i said baker do have good everything but i for one hate the feel and that much concave. Element regular seem to last really long but have mediocre everything else. So if your looking for a good long lasting pro deck elelment. Fiberlights seem to have decreased weight and upped pop but the durability has been cut a lot. they snap easier and chip easier. Darkstar have good concave and are a good overall deck. I would have given it better durability if it didint chip so easy. It didint want to break at all though. It took me so many tries to finally stomp that SOB. Almost have average everything except weight. I dunno how they made em this light but still pretty strong. The lightest deck i think there is. Chocolate..is my favorite deck IMO. The pop is very good and the concave is perfect. The worst downflaw is that they dont last for shit..well at least the one i got didnt. it chipped so badly it wasnt even funny. Well im not saying it will be the same for you but as for me thats what it was

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but bakers have a really mellow concave, element is one of the most flimsy decks and darkstar and almost are exactly the same

wtf you shouldn't be reviewing which brand, because different brands make different types of boards. i.e i have had 2 AWS and they felt totally different. this is why the whole deck forum is pointless. you should state the brand and the name/model of the board you got. That's the only way of knowing the pop/concave/lightness/durability. In the end decks are personal preference, so unless people state whether it has steep concave or mellow concave. big pop or small pop. Ignore their review. For a good reference go to shoes and look up krux shoes guide. notice how they are done by model. decks should be reviewed like that.

DNA-it was ok,kinda heavy and kind of based on the 1990-1992 time of skating, not old school board,as in like when new school boards came out first,a concave that's ok.don't like the deck overall

bullet - good at first, decent pop,not much concave and snapped it on olleing a 10 set

ZERO chris cole shallow grave - AWESOME
- GOOD POP,GOOD CONCAVE,GOOD FLICK,NICE FEEL

still using it...the pwnage!

i had a those cheap-ass skateboards u buy from stores when i first strated skating....and i'm using the risers from those decks for my current setup

Sora1421

the baker i rode did not have shallow concave at all. It was a 7.65 yellow danger baker and it had way more than my darkstar. People get over it the companies of wood are the kind but the company still gives them the mold. I wish people would udnerstand same company decks are close but all in all differnt decks.
