Bearings fall off! help me please

Ok here's the deal, i recently bought new bearings, and the thing is, when I take out the wheels from my skateboard, they just fall off. they're supposed to get stuck in the wheels I guess, but that doesn't happen with mines. My wheels are almost a year old, now could this be a problem of the wheels that became too wide or something? should i replace them?

Hells yeah you should replace them!

ill ask at the skateshop tomorrow to try the bearings in another wheels, so that if the problem's with the bearings i dont end up wasting money
