Pizzicato Double Bass! Like plucked double bass. Where they use their fingers instead of a bow.

Recommend me bands which utilise this phenomenemon. Anything from lounge style stuff or dark electronica or pub rock or orchestral or whatever that has a plucked double bass in it. I just really love the sound of it.

Go! :-|

Do you mean 1/16th notes ala double bass drums, or two separate instruments? And I'm not even sure if pizzicato basses exist.

Haha, alright. I'll re-iterate.

Not double kick drums, and not 2 bass guitars. I mean the monster of an instrument built like an oversized cello. The one on the right in this pic:

And pizzicato is the style of playing them, plucking the strings.

I didn't really realise there was so many ways of interpreting what I said haha.
