Trace Elliot, Louder than Satan

Word!!

Fender and Marshal have some ok bass amps... but really they're after thoughts :D

Peavey amps are loud for the wattage, my mates 20watt peavey practice amp was louder than a 40 watt fender bassman!!

so really, Peavey, or of course, TRACE ELLIOT!

once you own a Trace you will never want to own anything else!

I've only had 2 amps lol. My first was a working man that was a pretty good amp like 450 watts lol maybe a little much. But I can't stress enough how good ampegs sound for when you wanna upgrade. Always good to see another bass player though seems like everyone nowadays plays guitar.

yea, i've heard they're better than warwick cabs and arguably as good or better than trace elliots...

but they seem pretty expensive, i love my trace either way :D

and i totally agrue, EVERYBODY AND THEIR DOG plays guitar at the moment!

the 20watt peavy practice amps are brilliant, i was jamming on my mates yamaha 5 -string with one last week and it easily shook the room. BUT having played this one before i decided to buy the peavy TNT which is around 150 watts (i think) and, although i've only gigged with it once and dont get too many chances to practice using it, i don't really like the sound i get out of it. I've played around with a Trace a few times before during my lessons thoguh and they're amazing.

for those of you who don't want to read all that : just buy a Trace

a good trace can be expensive, but they are worth it!

i got a 130 watt trace elliot, with a 7 band EQ, for £200, and thats a fucking bargin!

how hard is it to work out? its about $1.4 to £1 at the moment i think...

However... modern trace elliots arn't half as good because gibson bought the company and trashed it.

go on eBay and look for one, i always check up on trace elliots on eBay, i got mine there, was a bargin ane is awesome!

you can also find gems such as this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Trace-Elliot-TAG1-7-band-graphic-equaliser-pedal_W0QQitemZ7361800892QQcategoryZ22669QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem

Yeah Im not the only bass player rocking an Ibanez, I got a Ibanez GSR200 (4 string) and a 6 string, but amps for bass the best are AMPEG, and the best amp head is the SVT-4 PRO but those are over a grand, but are worth it. I don't have one yet I just have the SVT-3 Pro, but its great too.
