Will i notice?

right now i skate a 7.75 but im stepping up and doing much higher stuff so my feet fall off etc. and id like more deck under my feet... my question is will i notice a difference flipping wise etc. when i got to a 8 since theres only a .25 difference?

well theres this really old 8' board i have and it does flip very well... i think 8's are okay since your feet are more likely to land on the board then slipping off

yeah... i am for sure moving up a size because my feet land off the board all time when i go off like 7 sets etc.

I would think that you would get used to the size difference after a while. Like how you get used to different shapes of decks.

i love wide boards, better control and landing, but for some reason i can ollie like 1.5 feet on my old birdhouse 8 and i can ollie like 3' on my friends mystery 7.625
