how to choose the board's size?

cause i just go get any board, and i just wanna know how to choose my decks from now on.

If you like the feel of small decks and a deck that flips faster go with 7.5 to max 7.75. If you have big feets and want a deck with a lot of control and that stuff chose a biger size like 8.0 up to 8.5

footsize 7-below Decksize: 7.5-7.63

footsize 8-10 Decksize: 7.63- 8.00

10- up Decksize: 7.75- 8.5


well it doesnt really matter again its what you prefer... i prefer 7.75 cause i like more room to work with not that the other sizes are bad :D

depends on your weight too, dont get a thin deck if your fat/do lots of big drops

alright, thanks guys for the replies, but theres one small thing....its just that here in Lebanon ,we use the FUR in shoe size, so i guess the sizes u gave were UK or USA..and i just wanna kno which one...

Well i ride big boards. All my friends ride real small ones like 7.5s and such. I used to skate small boards but i got a big one on accident and couldnt stop. Even tho i do have a pretty big foot for my hieght. size 12 at 5'6".

if you have small feet or do tech tricks you want a smaller board like a 7.5.if you have big feet or do hammers like i do,you want a 7.75 or wider

It all depends on your style-tech tricks probably need smaller boards. One of my friends skates a mini-board even though his shoe size is 10. It looks very cramped, but whatever. Vert, probably 7.75-8. If you just want a well-rounded deck, go for a 7.75, good flips and fairly decent control.

Oh yea..if you do mostly stairs or big drops, get like an 8...they don't break as easily, and I've had good experience with mine.
