Hey I was just wondering what you guys think of this setup, I'm using it mostly for street skating and will be taking it to the park on occasion. Thanks for any insight.

Deck: zoo york reflection, 7.5 x 31
Trucks: Venture sugar brown trucks
Wheels: evileds 53mm skull wheels
Bearing: evileds abec 7 bearings

The above is what I'm considering getting, 75 + shipping is was it costs on evileds, any thoughts?

For the zoo york board the only other thing I was considering switching was the trucks to Thunder, either jamie thomas hallow wing (prolly won't look as good) or Thunder blacks. There were also royal gold/black trucks, but from reading it seems that venture or thunder trucks are better.

The other deck I was considering was a AWS, big and rob foil, the black one. Either way, I'm decided on purchasing from evil eds, so please only suggest products you see from their website, w ww.evileds.com, for the complete's don't look under the complete section, look under decks, and under each category are pre-built completes. The trucks are interchangeable, so if you look under zoo york, for the reflection, it originally comes with skelto trucks, which I changed to ventures in my build for an +$10. Basically, +10 for ventures, royals, GK, Thunder's, unless it's already combined with one of those, then interchange for no extra cost.

THanks very much for taking the time read my ramblings...

Cheers,
Brian

*I should also mention that on the website, it's not specified what type of trucks the thunders or ventures are... i think the ventures are venture lows... maybe if someone looks at the site they will be able to tell, I can't.

Hey, I was wondering, since the deck is 7.5", optimally, would my trucks be 7.5 or 7.75 in length?

Because the venture 5's are 7.75, meaning that my trucks would be .25 longer than my deck... hmm... should I maybe consider getting smaller trucks if I have that option available to me?

Not sure if the store i'm buying from carries 7.5 ventures, or even if ventures come in 7.5s, otherwise i could consider thunders...

i suggest getting 7.75
it will grind down eventually like mine. now my 7.75 trucks make my 7.75 board unstable in primo because its been grinded down to probably 7.6

ive heard zoo york has insane deep concave and good pop. but some people have said their board from zoo york snapped easily.

i love zoo york gear btw.

I'm not sure I understand the measurements, doesn't 7.75 refer to the width of the axle? if so, how does grinding reduce the length, wouldn't it reduce the height from being ground down?
