I was at my somewhat local shop (Sunday in Buffalo, NY) just now to buy a habitat deck. When he was gripping the Habitat, i asked how they ride. He said that they ride exactly the same as the shop decks because they are manufactured at the same place Habitat decks are made, the same wood. Its awesome so that next time i might just buy the shop deck which is the same wood as a Habitat but $20 cheaper. The only problem is that everybody rides Sunday decks so, but its kinda cool that its the same.

Not say that he's lying, but he could just be telling you that so that way you will buy a shop deck and then they get full profit.

well i remembered that he said Sundays were made with Habitat and Alien Workshop (I think) decks, they are the same wood just painted differently awhile ago, before i joined this site so i dont think he is lying, plus the service there is unbelievable and everyone is cool. EG: i was missing a screw on my deck and they just gave me one for free, plus they give free shop stickers for just visiting the store...

my local shop owner makes zoo york decks and he said every zoo york you have ever seen is made by him. hes got warehouse and factories and shit but has a tiny little shop. his shop deck = the same as zoo and most decks are 45 with grip some are 35 some be 30 Do0d

yeah, im pretty sure that pro companies are making at least 15 dollar profit for each deck. if shop decks are the same wood except $20 cheaper then pro compaines are making a lot of profit which is a rip
