i usually skate a 7.5 deck. i have size 10 feet. i can never keep control of the board and when i land 50% of the time my toes scrape the ground. the only reason i'm asking you guys is because i'm skeptical if i'll be able to do flip tricks as easily with a bigger board. if you think it won't make much of a difference for flip tricks, tell me. i'd like to know what's harder/easier to do on a bigger deck. i'm thinking of a 7.75. thanks.

most tricks are that hard on a bigger deck. It shouldnt make too much of a difference.
For some people it changes, the only way to find out is to try one out. I never notice a change unless it's from a 7.5 to an 8.

I don't think you need the upgrade but if you want to then go for it.

ok, 100% of you said get the 7.75. but what i'd like to know is, what are the advantages? and how is it different control-wise?

I wear 11's and just today moved up to a 7.62. So I say just move up a bit to 7.6, because 7.75 would be a big change, at least with 7.62 your gradually moving up.

i wear the same size shoes as you and i went from a 7.5 to a 7.8 and it helped me so much it's crazy. It's easier to keep control, and theres more board, so it's harder to toe-tap than with a skinnier board

its all preference, but id say go with 7.75, i feel safer ona wider board
7.75 or even 8.
Try them, I think you will like them.

I have uk size 12 and ride a 7.5, but it's different for everyone and if you are having trouble then try the 7.75

just wait until yor board is broke and try another, then another, then another, and eventually you will become loyal to a size and brand i am sure. love takes time.
