I'm just curious.. what brand of pads, wrist guards & helmets do you guys use? S-One, Triple 8, Pro Designed, Pro-tec etc? Which one is the most comfortable, light & protective (for each; pads, wrist guards, helmets)?? ;)

i have some protec pads that i use when going to any skatepark. they were pretty big and got in the way of movement because of how wide the plastic part on the front was. so i modified them and just sawed off the plastic piece on the front, now they fit like a glove.
i had some triple 8 that i outgrew, they were pretty alright. sorta restricted movement. if i were you i'd go with protec or s-one

I don't usually wear protective gear, unless I'm riding a Half-Pipe or a bowl.

eh, i never really used wrist guards. they dont make you wear them at the skatepark, only elbow and knees. if you are a beginner then you might want them, until you are comfortable on a board. the triple 8 wrist guards are sorta thick and movement restricting, but because of how stiff they are it would be really hard to break your wrist.
