This is a hard trick to learn and you should learn a B/S pop-shove first. You have to be able to F/S 180 before you try this.
Pop down like a F/S 180 but shove your board with your feet instead of guiding it around like a 180. The board doesn't stay under your feet so you have to find out where the board goes and next time just towards that spot. Always stay overtop of the board. When you come to landing it don't be afraid. Just look down and the board should be there if it isn't... Well your screwed. Try it again. Always keep an eye on the board and make sure it spins the 180 before you try to land on it.
I have been trying to do fs shove its for a while and had given up then found this which is very helpful...they are getting better but i still have the problem most of the time that even with my back foot brought to the heel side my board either goes straight up and down or it just turns on the wheels and goes back where it came from...is my weight wrong?
Every time I do this I can get the spin, I just can't land it, Im afraid to land on the board and have it fly out from under me, any advice??
Just dont be scared it took me awile before i got it too. If your scared of falling then i would suggest getting used to falling because you will be doing it alot. Just jump to where your board is going to go and your good to go. Just remember your not that high up your only a couple of inches above the ground.

Your not kicking your back foot forward. Your kicking it straight down and some of the time your not popping your tail.

i had the same problem with b/s pop shovits- u just have to overcome that fear. sure, you'll probably bust ur ass a few times, but once u land it, it will be worth it. try doing them on carpet or grass at first, then work your way to concrete. if ur really that scared of falling, try wearing pads or a helmet or both.
hope this helped!
