Last Thursday, I decided to take a ride down the street, get a tea, and skate the metal ledge at the bingo hall. As I was walking out of 7-11, giving a polite farewell to the clerk, I saw a group of skaters sitting out front. They were a good year or two younger than myself, but what the hell, skateboarding has basically forgot my side of town, so why not ask them if they want to skate. So I approached, one of the kids in a tiedye shirt giving me a wierd look. I ask, as a whole group, "What's up."
As I sat down and cracked open my tea, I noticed I had yet to get a response besides a couple wierd looks. I look to the kid at my right and ask "Is there a problem or something?"
The kid remained silent for a few seconds and quickly muttered out "got blunt?"

Pass It Around is Donavon Frankenreiter's 5th solo album. As his usual style, its those soft surfer-feel jams that are great for a mellow mood.
Let me take you down a quick summary of each of the tracks:
- Life Love & Laughter is probably the most upbeat song on this CD. Despite employing the cliche 3 L's, it actually manages to be a great song. With its quicker pace, its one that stands out as a favourite of the album.
- Too Much Water is a very soft sounding song. It's got a short riff that feels a bit too short as it gets repeated over and over as the parts in-between the chorus run. Not a bad song, but one I might find myself skipping over if control isn't too far away.

It's been about 3 and a half years since I started skating and, by default, subjected myself to treatment as a subhuman part of society by many. Now, for all new skaters, the one question that comes to mind within their first year is "Why do they all hate us?" Maybe the question will be brought up by their first kickout, maybe getting picked on by jocks or beat up, maybe having the cops called, maybe getting new attitudes from neighbors or losing a few former friends. Well, so I can end all wondering, I will explain to you why skaters are always and will always be hated.

All right. A game where the physics are derived from that of real life, and where you can't ollie up 20's or down 80's...You must be dreaming, right? Wrong. EA has brought to us true skaters a game by the simple title- Skate. Exactly what this game reenacts, much better than the Tony Hawk franchise, I might add. The game boasts an excellent cast of skaters ranging from Paul Rodriguez to Jason Dill to Jerry Hsu to PJ Ladd, as well as tons of companies you can buy products from, as well as get sponsored by many of them.
